Neverwinter Nights 2 Reviews

The new week starts off with two more favorable review scores for Obsidian Entertainment's Neverwinter Nights sequel. The first is at Gameworld Network with an overall score of 88%:
Why do we play video games? Because they are fun. And despite some minor issues, Neverwinter Nights 2 is fun. There may not be anything revolutionary here, but that's ok. Recommended for not only fans of the original, but any RPG fan as well. We'll be playing this one for a long time.

And the second is at GameClubCentral with an overall score of 8/10:
One of Obsidian's greatest strengths is their use of story and characters and it shows in NWN2. The story has depth and draws you in with the in game narratives and events. Helping that is the friends you meet and team up with along the way. Like in KOTOR2, your teammates have their own personalities, methods and agenda's and respond to your actions in the game. The voice acting is good and the in game cinematic really gives your party members the depth and personality they need. I was so reminded of my party choices in the KOTOR games, I was wondering if I was going to come across an automated construct somewhere looking to crush '˜meatbags'!
