Q: Why is the Winged Helm more expensive to repair than other artifacts that I own?
A: Each artifact is assigned a value, and the value determines the cost of repair. Mad Martin the Items Man double checked to be sure that nothing had gotten screwed up by accident, and tells me that the Guard of Valor, Alvarus's Leggings, and the Winged Helm all have the same value and therefore the same repair cost.
