Atari Demos Upcoming PlayStation®Portable System Game, Dungeons & Dragons®: Tactics
Who: Atari, Inc., one of the world's most recognized brands and a leading third-party video game publisher.
Obsidian Entertainment, the prominent video game development studio currently working on the highly-anticipated Neverwinter Nights 2. Neverwinter Nights 2 is set in the popular Dungeons & Dragons® Forgotten Realms™ universe created by Wizards of the Coast. The Neverwinter Nights franchise has sold more than two million copies worldwide and features one of the largest and most active fan communities in all of gaming.
Dungeons & Dragons: Tactics is the first D&D title to ever be developed for a next-generation portable system and authentically utilizes the latest 3.5 rule-set created by Wizards of Coast. The game allows players to take a party of six adventurers into a wide variety of dangerous environments to experience deep and exciting turn-based action. In development by Kuju Entertainment, Dungeons & Dragons: Tactics will be available for the PSP™ (PlayStation®Portable) system in February 2007.
Dragon*Con is the largest multi-media and popular arts convention in the United States today focusing on science fiction and fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music and film.
What: Obsidian Entertainment founder and designer Chris Avellone and Josh Sawyer, the lead designer on Neverwinter Nights 2, will speak at this year's Dragon*Con and provide convention-goers with in-depth insight into the development of Neverwinter Nights 2.
