The studio principals created the definitive property in the action RPG category, Diablo. Their new title appears to have a similar balance of accessibility, a rapid pace that isn't a clickfest, and depth that is introduced gradually over time. The key feature set is undeniably attractive; a few elements of note are a branching, flexible system of spells and skills, highly customizable weapons and randomly generated items. As well, levels will be created dynamically, making it extremely unlikely you'll ever see the same combination of adversaries, events, quests and rewards. This suggests a high degree of replayability in both the solo and cooperative multiplayer modes. The concept seems to balance familiarity and freshness, and the art direction is definitely appealing.
