Neverwinter Nights 2 E3 Preview

RPG Vault has put together a short preview of Obsidian Entertainment's Neverwinter Nights 2, based on what they saw of the RPG sequel during this year's E3. An excerpt to follow:
The developers have been working hard to build on the distinctive strengths of the first game, principally by building new editing tools with a similar balance between power and ease of use. Some other noteworthy elements also rate to be improved. One is the single-player campaign, where studio co-founder Chris Avellone's previously demonstrated writing skills seem likely to shine once again in a sweeping tale involving a lost relic from a war fought years before and, of course, a dire threat to the Forgotten Realms world. Other changes worth mentioning are that players will have greater control over the party member NPCs, and the implementation of new technologies such as an up to date graphics engine and improved pathfinding code.
