The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Team Q&A #3

RPG Vault has posted the third portion of their The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Team Q&A, this time asking the development team about their favorite enemies in the game. A snippet:
Jonah Lobe, Character Artist: The Frost Atronoch, coupled with the environmental mapping, looks absolutely jaw dropping. If you get a chance, summon one of these guys in the outdoor Oblivion realm; they look stunning. When you kill them, dragging their bodies around and hearing their crystalline limbs click and scrape across the ground is strangely entertaining.

Vampires are always a thrill because they've got attitude and they're always sure to be decked out in the fine gear they've collected over the years. A particular moment comes to mind that decided it for me. Exploring in a root-draped mine, I briefly saw a vampire before he spotted me. Before I could get my first shot off, he cast an invisibility spell on himself and faded from sight. Backing up cautiously, I suddenly heard footsteps pounding towards me and - one of the most memorable moments in my computer gaming history - the roots hanging before my face leapt up violently a second before my assailant reappeared, bringing a massive two-handed sword down on my head.
