The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Reviews

Yet another large batch of reviews for Bethesda's The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion have surfaced on the 'net. The first is at ActiveXbox with an overall score of 93%:
I can't find much to fault in Oblivion, It is a huge game, loads to do and lots to see voice work was the only downside in a superb package and the story and general writing is excellent throughout. I know a lot of people will rush through the main quest, but it is well worth finding the many side quests in the game as they have big stories of their own. It is quite easy to call it the best 3D role playing game ever created.

The second is at Killer Betties with a perfect score of 5/5:
This game is so big that you will spend countless hours going from one place to another. The open-ended design means you never have to play it exactly the same. This, combined with the finest graphics I can ever remember seeing in a PC game, make Oblivion one of the best RPGs games ever made. Trust me, you don't want to miss this game.

The third is at Blogcritics.org with a perfect score of 5/5:
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is everything fans of the series wanted, and more. The long wait, and delay, were well worth it in the end. Oblivion is a masterpiece for the eyes and the ears, and should easily receive Game of the Year honors. Continuing Bethesda's tradition of delivering more than what is normally expected out of a game, Oblivion is an outstanding example of superior everything.

The fourth is at VG Resource Center with an overall score of 9.5/10:
There is really too much to say about Oblivion to accurately describe how good this game really is. From what I've played so far, it has everything in it I was hoping for, and only a few drawbacks, that being you need a DVD drive to play which I had to go buy, it is an incredibly high end game to run tweaked out, and the frame rate is spotty on occasion when I'm just wandering around, not when I'm in combat, which is odd. I would stake quite a bit on this game earning Game of the Year awards on damn near every gaming site on the planet, or at least RPG of the Year. Something tells me that this is an instant classic, so what are you waiting for, go get it.

And the fifth is at Gamerz-Edge with a perfect score of 10/10:
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is the benchmark title for all aspects of gaming on the 360. It is truly an expierence all to it's self. I know this is a bold statement, but this game is absolutely perfect. For the first time ever, I am giving a game a full 10 out of 10 in all areas. You must own this title. Run, don't walk to wherever you can and get this game.
