Gaming Illustrated has kicked up a review of City of Villains, giving NCsoft and Cryptic Studios' MMORPG an overall score of 80%. Here's why:

City of Villains is a welcome addition to the MMO landscape. As a standalone game, it has enough features to reward serious players, but with several features that make it the ideal MMO for the player who only has a couple of hours a week to devote to it. The new PvP options breathe new life into City of Heroes, and will no doubt bring a few players back to the fold.
