Dungeons & Dragons Online Preview

MyGamer has published their own preview of Turbine's Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach, based on their time within the game's ongoing beta test. A snippet, as usual:
The game, at this late stage of the beta, looks fantastic and quite polished, even more so than many recent sword and sorcery titles on their actual retail release date. Town and dungeon locations are beautifully designed and take advantage of advanced lighting and particle effects, yet the game always managed to run smoothly even at the game's highest resolution on our mid-range test system (an AMD 2100+ with 1GB of RAM and a GeForce 6800 video card). Player avatars do, however, suffer from a bit of visual conformity in the early levels, until players find or purchase a greater variety of clothing or armor. Expect to be surrounded by a sea of characters, most looking more or less alike, until the later levels.
