Auto Assault Q&A

GamerGod has published a Q&A with NetDevil's Scott Brown and NCsoft's Valerie Massey about the upcoming post-apocalyptic vehicular MMORPG, Auto Assault. Check it out:
Q: How much of an effect will players have on the environment?

A: Nearly everything in every instance is destructible. Ninety nine percent of the objects in a mission are able to be affected. This has been tied to crafting, and there are even missions to destroy specific things. If you can break something, what are the challenges to the player? You can't force them to flip a switch if they don't want to, and we looked at the consequences of both choices.

That kind of realism is important for the game; when a game does not play '˜realistically', it is not as fun to play. You may not notice this when you play the game, but our goal is that you will notice the things you can't do in other games that you can do in Auto Assault when you play those other games.
