It's almost impossible to review the NGE outside of the context of how it was delivered. If someone's reading this looking for an apologetic fan of SOE, they've come to the wrong place. Regardless of what I think about the experience itself, I cannot condone how they delivered it. I'm just a player, and as such, my empathy first goes out to other players. In that respect, this whole fiasco comes down to one very simple truth: It's a disaster. And worse, it was easily avoidable.
