Hammer & Sickle Reviews

A trio of new reviews for CDV and Nival's Hammer & Sickle reached the web over the past couple of days. The first is at GamingTrend with an overall score of 64%:
I know that the World War II era is getting tired, and initially I felt Hammer & Sickle would be a great game to allow us to experience the mystery and intrigue that the Cold War helped to create. As you have read through this entire review, I was very disappointed and annoyed.

The second is at ThinkComputers.org with a perfect score of 10/10:
Hammer and Sickle is a great game and I think lots of other people will agree with me, even though I thought the whole WWII theme was a bit played out, Hammer and Sickle breathes new life into the genre of WWII themed games with some very cool features and great gameplay. It is a fresh take on the genre and a nice break from the all to common first person shooters out there. For fans of Silent Storm I would suggest picking this up, as you will enjoy it, and for those not familiar with it, well pick both up, they are both great games.

And the third is at GameZone with an overall score of 5.5/10:
Hammer & Sickle is an idea that went much further than necessary with graphical problems and sound that seems out of place. Better to pass on this one.
