Turbine has announced that account creation has been disabled in Asheron's Call 2 to prepare for the game's final month of operation. If you already have an account and want to participate in the MMORPG's final days, you can re-subscribe up until December 9th. The full announcement:

As of 11/28, Account Creation has been suspended for AC2. Players can no longer create new accounts for the game. Players who wish to re-subscribe to AC2 for the final month of operation must do so by December 9th. Effective December 9th, re-subscribing will not be possible.

Players who have subscriptions to AC2 following December 1st will no longer be billed, but may continue playing through December 30th.
