Star Wars Galaxies Revamp Interview

Gamecloud has conducted an interview with LucasArts' Julio Torres, quizzing the producer about their decision to revamp several aspects of Star Wars Galaxies. Here's a taste:
Q: Can you go into more detail on how the combat system will be changed to be more action oriented?

A: For starters, players will now manually acquire their target, so we have removed the lock-on aspect of the combat system. As long as a player has their reticule positioned on their target, they are able to attack the target using a combination of mouse clicks left click to use primary weapon (i.e. blaster, lightsaber, etc.) and right click to use the special abilities they queue-up using the number keys. This is similar to systems you may have seen in other RPG's and action-RPG's.
