X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse Reviews

A half dozen new X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse reviews have surfaced on the 'net over the past few days. The first is at UGO, where they've given the PSP version an overall score of "B+":
No question, X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse is a great PSP game and is the best RPG experience on the console. Though some hitches keep it from perfection, fans of the genre or Marvel-philes should find a lot of good in this one.

The second is at GameZone, where they've given the PSP version an overall score of 9.0/10:
X-Men Legends II is a great entry into this promising franchise, and the PSP version pulls no punches, giving gamers all the action in a small package.

The third is at Eurogamer with an overall score of 8/10:
Raven know what their fans want, and this time, they've delivered. It's a gaping chasm of Comic Book joy, filled to brimming with great characters, unlockables, collectibles and some top-notch mutant-oriented RPG action. It is, in short, one of the best comic book adaptations in quite some while, and if you are an RPG fan or a Comic Book fan, you'd be remiss not to take this to your heart.

The fourth is at GamingTrend with an overall score of 90%:
X-Men Legends 2 is a vast improvement over its predecessor, just by adding Live play and improving the character management system. Raven really listened to player feedback and cleaned up the rough spots from the previous game. It looks like Raven has forged themselves a great new franchise.

The fifth is at Gamer Within with an overall score of 7.1/10:
In the end, X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse heavily relies on your interest in the classic comic book super heroes in order to maintain your interest in the game from start to finish. Fans of the original will likely find plenty to enjoy with Raven Software's sequel, as will true fans of the mutant freaks. Unfortunately, those who have little or moderate interest in the X-Men will be hard pressed to have any enjoyment with this latest title, as it fails to introduce any major new gameplay elements that set it apart from other RPG's and keep the interest high throughout the entire experience.

And the sixth is actually a video review at GameTrailers with an overall score of 8.0/10.
