X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse Interview

Gamecloud was able to track down Activision's Matthew Paul for a quick interview about the newly released X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse. Check it out:
Q: Why was the decision made to release the game for the PC and PSP in addition to the main consoles?

A: RPGs are a natural for the PC and PSP. Just look at what sells on both those platforms. However, it was more than that. By changing the controls to the mouse and keyboard, we knew we could make X-Men Legends 2 feel like a natural PC game. In fact, it plays like a different game. Since the combat is more automatic like Diablo or World of Warcraft, we balanced the PC version so there is a bit more strategy than just rapid mouse clicking. As for the PSP, the chance to play X-Men Legends 2 while on the road was too much to pass up. We added Infrastructure support to the PSP so you can play with anybody anywhere there is a wi-fi connection to the internet. In addition to exclusive characters and levels for both PC and PSP, there are a lot of reasons to try one of those platforms.
