But what about the actual gameplay? Sigil team members told us that while Vanguard will be playable by newcomers to the MMORPG genre, their target audience is the experienced massively multiplayer gamer with advanced features like solid community and guild support, a bigger emphasis on in-game items, (including crafting and looting) and a revised combat system that will include things like using combo attack moves. Sigil Games also said that Microsoft is still supporting the game fully, despite its recent moves in the past in regards to MMORPGs (giving back the rights to the Asheron's Call game to Turbine and cancelling their own in-house title Mythica).
