LucasArts to Develop Better Star Wars Games

ComputerAndVideoGames.com is reporting that LucasArts has decided to stop developing "undifferentiated" and "mediocre" titles and instead focus on only a few select good ones. From the sound of this paragraph, though, it doesn't sound like the Knights of the Old Republic series falls into their "mediocre" list:
Speaking to one of our cousin sites Next Gen.biz, John Geoghegan, vice president of global sales and marketing at LucasArts, admitted that in spite of decent performances recently with titles like Battlefront and KOTOR 2, LucasArts has overegged the Star Wars franchise in the past: "We were inadvertently harvesting the brand and we were shipping too much undifferentiated, mediocre product. We have to be more careful about how we manage the brand."
