Fable: The Lost Chapters First View

RPG Vault brings us another one of their "first view" articles, this time providing commendations, reservations, and considerations for Lionhead's Fable: The Lost Chapters. The commendations to follow:
The game is unusually epic in the sense that it tracks your character's life from the innocence of childhood to old age and great power. During this time, it allows you to define your character through your actions within the rich world of Albion. If you opt to focus on close combat, you'll develop larger muscles. Concentrating on speed and stealth will make you quicker and more accurate, and magic users will show visible indications of their arcane powers. The environment will offer new enemies to fight, and you'll also have access to more spells, weapons and armor. The real-time combat system has won almost universal praise. So has the music, especially the main theme by Danny Elfman. The PC graphics we've seen so far appear to be very competitive.
