Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures E3 Preview

Killer Betties has written up a preview of Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, based upon what they saw of the RPG during this year's E3. A little something to start you off:
Age of Conan plans an 80 level system split into four 'tiers' with a few more wrinkles. At level five a player goes from being a commoner to one of the four starting archetypes (Mage, Priest, Thief, and Warrior), and at level 20 the character chooses a class based on the archetype, differentiating themselves further. At the second tier, level forty, a secondary advancement path is chosen, such as crafting or commanding other players. 60 is the last major branching, where a player will choose between two prestige classes.
