Dark Age of Camelot: Darkness Rising E3 Preview

GamersInfo has whipped up a preview of Darkness Rising, based upon what they saw of Mythic's Dark Age of Camelot expansion on the show floor of E3. An excerpt:
As if cool horse costumes and a great storyline were not enough, Darkness Rising also will add two new post-50 content areas for players. Players will be able to choose a new sub-class to compliment their original class choice. No, this doesn't mean that you'll be seeing Champion/Enchanters running all around the Hibernian hills, but you might see that same champion with the ability to fire a bow from behind a bush or toss a fireball at you. In other words, your sub-class will be a very low powered version of whatever it is you choose to take. The expectation is that sub-classes are not something that is going to massively change RvR balance. You won't see a scout suddenly turning crowd controller in the group, or an enchanter turned stealth bomber. But, you might find that the armsman who you used to take down in a few hits now has the power to bandage himself long enough for the cleric in the group to start healing. My thought when I heard about this idea was basically "Huh, could be interesting." And I get the impression that's just what Mythic is hoping for.
