Auto Assault E3 Previews

Both RPG Vault and WorthPlaying are offering up previews of NetDevil's Auto Assault, after seeing the vehicular post-apocalyptic MMORPG at this year's E3. A snip from RPG Vault's article:
Missions are instanced, and in this one, the player had to set beacons on an enemy building so that he could call down an orbital strike to destroy the structure. After using a cloaking device to avoid some foes and showing off the Hazard Mode (read panic button) power a couple of the vehicles had, the player found a high perch and executed the impressive orbital blast, totally destroying many buildings. Debris flew into the air, highlighting the physics in the game. This element is reportedly are well optimized, so you needn't worry about it bogging your system down, although the game is may be graphics intensive.

And a snip from WorthPlaying's article:
Like any MMORPG, your character levels and can learn new skills and raise attributes as he develops, and better equipment and vehicles will become available. The designers wanted players to be able to customize their vehicles in many different ways, so they made all equipment in the game unique, with randomly generated stats in a variety of categories. Players will also be able to build their own stuff by gathering broken parts in the wastelands and combining them. Crafted items will have the option of either being created as is without fail, or being created with experimentation, which adds a chance of failure but increases the chance of creating something superb.
