As is so often the case with MMORPGs, The Matrix Online feels like it might have been released a little prematurely. There are countless bugs cropping up here, there and everywhere, and lag is definitely an issue on occasions. The user interface, as has already been mentioned, needs a lot of work, and a little more variety is required to retain interest. The combat is a big saving grace, and fans of the movies will lap up the authenticity and the fantastic storyline. In time Monolith will address the bugs and perhaps tidy up the interface, but we'll have to wait and see. Until then, there is a lot of game to have fun with, but this isn't the best example of the genre.
