World of Warcraft Tips of the Week #14

RPG Vault is offering up some additional advice to aid you in your travels through Blizzard's World of Warcraft. The fourteenth installment discusses playing a Hunter and using resistances against magic-users. A snippet:
Experienced duelists understand that when you face a magic user, victory does not always go to the character that is higher in levels and theoretically or even actually more powerful. The key to emerging triumphant can often be blunting your opponent's abilities. For instance, Mages have three types of spells. All can deal out considerable damage, but Fire seems to take precedence far more often than Frost or Arcane. As a result, raising your resistance to this school can be very helpful. A resisted spell uses up your adversary's mana without incurring any damage. A couple of resists, or even one, can determine whether you triumph or fall.
