World of Warcraft Reviews

A pair of reviews for Blizzard's World of Warcraft have surfaced on the web over the past few days. The first is over at CGN with an overall score of 4.75/5:
So here it is. Take the most brilliantly realized world in gaming, fill it with an endless list of things to do, and apply enough polish to make it shine from here to Jupiter, and you have World of Warcraft in a nutshell. It's impossible to even scratch the surface of all the factors that make this one of the best games to come out in the last few years, so it's in your best interests to just go buy the damn thing and see for yourself. If you're a fan of Warcraft, MMORPGs, gaming, or happiness in general, then odds are, you'll dig it.

And the second is at Deadalfs with an overall score of 9/10:
Blizzard have created a seamless cohesive fantasia of endless adventure, which reaches far deeper than mere polygon counts or a desire to recreate anything associated with reality. This is a World of Warcraft after all, and by cutting back on so-called expectations of real-world simulation, Blizzard have populated an otherwise soulless genre with character and warmth. It's Tolkien meets Disney, in the most favourable sense of the expression.
