Parting the Iron Curtain, Part Two

RPG Vault takes another look at the games being developed in the former Soviet bloc, although action-oriented titles seem to be the primary topic this time around. Akella's Captain Blood looks to be the closest thing to an RPG in this list:
Based on Rafael Sabatini's popular literary property, Akella's mix of action and naval simulation will cast you as a corsair on the Spanish Main in the late 17th century. The mission-based adventure will include two different types of gameplay. At sea, you'll control your ship, with wind and weather influencing the flow of battles. In the land encounters, you can use cutlasses, pistols, muskets, throwing knives and hand bombs, and perform various strikes and combos. The game is being developed with a new graphics engine for the PC and Xbox.
