Based on author Andrzej Sapkowski's popular dark fantasy literary property, The Witcher casts you as a member of the titular profession, which consists of warriors especially reared and trained to hunt and kill monsters. The play is expected to emphasize combat, but the team has stated clearly that the story element will be substantial as well, with a number of unexpected twists and turns. The game is using a modified version of BioWare's Aurora engine.
