EverQuest II Reviews

Two more reviews for EverQuest II are available, in case you still haven't decided whether or not you're going to pick up a copy of the MMORPG sequel. The first is at PC Gameworld with an overall score of 90%:
Here comes the World of Warcraft comparison. Everquest 2 has more depth, and is slower. World of Warcraft is simpler, faster and more suited to casual players. Unless you are rich, you will have to decide which category of gamers you fit into. Everquest 2 has less instant fun than World of Warcraft, but there is a strong sense of accomplishment instead.

And the second is at PopCultureShock with an overall score of "B+":
I could literally go on all day about EQ2, but there is never enough time. Many games have aimed to get the crown from EQ to no avail. It's great to see that SOE still has what it takes to surpass a game that was the equivalent of virtual crack, and make a sequel that improves on the original formula. Whether you are a newbie or an EQ veteran, there is nothing here that will fail to impress. Of all the MMORPGs that I have played in recent history, none have lived up to my expectations; there was always some detrimental flaw that pushed me away. EQ2 so far has no major flaws to speak of and has never failed to keep me enthralled. Since the world of Norrath is always changing, stay tuned for future updates about EverQuest 2.
