Star Wars: KotOR II Reviews

Another set of reviews for LucasArts and Obsidian's Star Wars: KotOR sequel have surfaced on the web over the past couple of days. The first is over at Game Over Online with an overall score of 89%:
I don't want to make it sound like the game's unplayable, because it isn't. It's insanely playable, and I've lost about forty-eight hours to it already. For every glitch or minor gripe I've got with the game, there's a good plot twist, a funny line of dialogue, or a necessary improvement to the engine. Obsidian ditched the level cap, added randomized items, and made Knights of the Old Republic II a better game in almost every respect than its predecessor. I just wish they'd had the time to iron all the bugs out of the final version.

The second is at GameCritics with an overall score of 6.5/10:
I forgave a lot of the issues that rankled me in the first Knights because it was just that a first game, and one that broke new ground. Carrying on the same kind of rough, unpolished quality into a sequel without any innovation is completely unacceptable to me, Star Wars or otherwise.

And the third is at GMR Source with an overall score of 8.2/10:
This game could have been much better. Also, this game does not feel like a sequel. It is still fun to play and if you're a big RPG or Star Wars fan, this is a must buy. Not a bad game at all.
