Deus Ex: Invisible War Reviews

A pair of reviews for Ion Storm's Deus Ex: Invisible War have made their way to the web during the holidays. The first is over at Xbox Core with an overall score of 8/10:
Invisible War will probably only take you around 10 hours or so to beat, which is a mere fraction of the 40+ hours that the original took away from thousands of gamers across the globe. An extremely thorough player can probably get a solid 12-16 hours out of this new installment, but beyond that, there isn't much to do, as the game doesn't have enough replay value to warrant a second play through. This one may be worth owning if you are a fan of the original series and can buy it cheap, but if you can't find it in the bargain bin just yet, rent it, enjoy it for a few days and then move on to something else.

And the second is at Video Game News with an overall score of "Thumbs Up":
For one thing, you still have the ability to complete missions through stealth, negotiation, fire fights, and now you can control robots to do your work for you. Take control of a mini-gun emplacement and have it wipe out the security staff while everyone ignores you. Plenty of sub mission and mini missions provide for depth to the game. And a variety of implants that can be installed and improved to make your character unique to the game world. In fact, there is so much doing on with Deus Ex: Invisible War you'll just have to trust me that the game is good and fun and worth picking up.
