World of Warcraft Previews

Two new previews for Blizzard's World of Warcraft have made their way to the web, just in time for the game's release this week. The first is at TechSpot:
One feature I really liked was the unique and intricate towns and cities. There are six major cities in the game: Stormwind, Ironforge, Darnassus, Orgrimmar, Thunder Bluff, and The Undercity. Even though each town's residents are a certain class, characters of a different class can still visit other towns. Players have the chance to interact with numerous NPCs capable of giving quests, sell items, and even be attacked and killed during raids. Sometimes it is actually a player's duty to help protect a local town and kill invading enemies if guards are not present to complete the task.

And the second is at MMOG Info:
As we level up, we can choose training new special abilities, battle or magical ones, and weapon skills with restrictions depending on your class. Once reached level 10, we can choose new abilities. For each new level reached from then, we acquire 1 point for talents. In all the classes there are three types of talents, and points are used for specializing our character. A soldier will be able improve his defensive skills if he wants to resist all the damage possible at first row, or become a berserker who doesn't care about the idea of falling in battle. Or a magician specialized in fire or ice spells. There are 50 talent points at maximum game level, level 60.
