Middle-Earth Online Delayed

According to a post made by Turbine's Sean Cunningham in the official Middle-Earth Online forums, the game has been delayed "to create a great and cohesive game experience that will do the books and license justice." Here's a snip of what he had to say:
The raw, hard truth is that Middle-Earth Online has been delayed. The game is moving forward daily, progress is being made. How do I know? Because I walk over to the dev pit o' hell and I hear the discussions, people buzzing, see landscape being painted and monsters placed. Before the game had been delayed, we were very forthright with information, screens, movies, game details, etc. Life was good. Then, THE DELAY came and we have not been able to be as forthright as we once were. Game systems and are under a very intense review to see how it all fits together to create a great and cohesive game experience that will do the books and license justice. This takes time to get right and execute. MEO has been delayed to make a better game. Delaying a game is a huge step that not every company is willing to do and, purely from a gamer's point of view, this decision should be applauded. We are putting our money and talent where our mouths are and making the best Middle-Earth Online that we possibly can.
