Shadowbane: Throne of Oblivion Report #1

RPGVault is offering up their first development report for the recently announced Shadowbane: Throne of Oblivion expansion pack, written by Wolfpack's Sean Dahlberg. Check it out:
Throne of Oblivion introduces many new character options, as well as a wealth of new systems and features. The title of the expansion points to the two main themes running through it. The more obvious theme is the latter, Oblivion, referring to the undead content. As depicted on the cover art, the expansion introduces an entirely new character race, the Vampires.

They are the chosen generals of Oblivion, fiends who have been claimed by the black powers of death, body and soul. Whatever form they held in life, when claimed by Oblivion, a Vampire's body is completely transformed. Wiped away are any vestiges of their old selves - tinted or tattooed skin crumbles into dust, revealing pale flesh as hard as granite. Their light skin, red glowing eyes and bestial ears offer visible testimony to their dark allegiance. Vampires are blessed with uncannily high attributes, resistances and a natural fortitude that makes them very hard to kill in battle. All their powers, however, come at a high price; the Blood is the Life, and Vampires must constantly feed if they hope to survive.
