Two More Fable Reviews

Tonight we bring you news of two more reviews for the newly released Fable, although they're not quite as positive as some of the earlier ones. The first is at ActionTrip with an overall score of 72/100:
Overall, while a very fun game, with high paced combat, this is not the game that we were promised. Where's the world in which you can do anything? I really can't hold the game up to its hype, but given that it follows a year after my favorite game of all time, it's sort of crushed by the competition. If you play this game to have fun, and realize that it does have some guidelines, you will enjoy it, if you're expecting another RPG masterpiece, you're shit out of luck.

And the second is at MyGamer with an overall score of 8.4/10:
The bottom line is that Fable is a very good game, though it isn't revolutionary in any way. The real-time aging and alignment modifying is great, but the game doesn't take advantage of it. I see Fable as a stepping-stone of sorts; it has a lot of good ideas, but doesn't use them to their full potential. Still, the game is certainly fun and a great addition to any adventure fan's library.
