Warlords Battlecry III Interview

Filefront has published an interview with Infinite Interactive's Steve Fawkner, in which the lead designer/programmer discusses Warlords Battlecry III now that it has been on store shelves for a few months. Check it out:
Q: What has gone into making the storyline add depth and fun to the game?

A: With the storyline, we really wanted to convey the size and scope of the world of Etheria. We wanted to capture that RPG style of gameplay where you progress through a world and through a story; completing many other side quests and stories as you go.

To that end, we have almost 100 missions available in the campaign, though a player might only play 40-50 of them in any trip through the story.

The other key feature is that the storyline is expandable. We already have a new area the Isle of Zhur to release in our upcoming 1.03 patch, with new maps, items and enemies for the player to encounter.
