GB Feature: The Witcher Interview & Day Cycle

We've conducted an interview with CD Projekt's Michal Kicinski and Michal Madej, in which the studio director and senior designer tell us about some of the finer details in their upcoming RPG, The Witcher. A snip:
GB: Can you give us a couple examples of some of the more powerful weapons and armor?

Michal: Very good examples of such special weapons are sihils almost legendary dwarven swords of extraordinary quality. Thanks to high technology (in terms of the game world) of their production, and enhancing them with powerful charms, they are almost indestructible, razor sharp weapons, capable both of cutting stones in half and deflecting hostile spells. Some of them have also magical runes inscribed on their blades, with an old and very effective dwarven curse - roughly translated as (Die, you bloody bastards).

In addition to the Q&A, we've also revealed the first details about the game's day & night cycle with a set of screenshots to illustrate the system. Enjoy!
