World of Warcraft Beta Report #2

Gamer's Pulse has released their second beta report for Blizzard's World of Warcraft, this time discussing player mounts, the auction system, and more. Here's a bit to get you started:
At this stage of the game the mount is just that, a new form of travel to allow you to get to a place faster than on foot while looking really cool on an assortment of mount types including; horses, tigers and rams to name just a few. The high cost of gold needed to purchase a mount insures they do not become a token concept in the game and gives players a goal in the game which helps promote the economy by having more crafters than what might be in the game without such items to purchase. Some players will state the price in gold is to high while others might say it is too low, but from my experience and my ability to acquire gold thru sales of vendor equipment, auctioned rare loot and resources I gathered, the price was relatively easy to acquire once you start to save for it around the time you hit level 30.
