Of late there have been a lot of naysayers doubting Fable. These folks are fools. Though some aspects of the original game design have been altered, a few features dropped, Fable's concept remains intact. The closest competitor to Fable is Morrowind, where you could run around and do what you wanted. But the world of Morrowind did not react and take shape around your actions. Have you ever played an RPG where children change their hair style to match yours, where bards sing songs of your deeds, and where you can get married and divorced if you start turning into a jerk? We haven't either, but we soon will.
