Version 1.70i Release Notes

===================================

NEW THINGS AND BUG FIXES

- The Necromancer Death Servant line of damage shields now properly scale past level 24.

- We have fixed a longstanding conflict with existing buffs and items that cast spells when worn. Other buffs or effects will no longer drop when equipping and unequipping such items. In addition, buffs from bows will drop when the archer draws a melee weapon from either hotbar or paperdoll.

- (SI Client) You can no longer board the boat to Atlantis if you are not using the Trials of Atlantis client.

- Pet related spell effects are now displayed to the pet's owner if the owner's spell effect filter is set to self. Group members' pets' spell effects are now displayed if the player's spell effect filter is set to group.

- Pets that perform weapon styles are properly attributed in the feedback to their owners.

- Moved many messages from archery fire from generic channel into the "You Attack" channel (or in a few appropriate cases, the "You Missed" channel).

- If something damages you with a DoT and then dies, you see "A now dead enemy hits you for X damage" instead of garbage.

- Grammatical fixes made to bug report submissions messages, autotrain messages, and grave error messages.

- Sabotage ML delve no longer incorrectly refers to siege equipment.

NEW FRONTIERS NOTES

- When placed on a frontiers keep piece only, turrets now have a maximum height above them (of about two character heights) in which they can cast and attack. This should allow defenders of even the smallest outpost towers to go up to the top roof and cast on any turrets placed on the first level without being hit back.

- Players can no longer cast on other players above water from underwater, and vice versa.

- Towers and their gates are now made of material that is half as strong as a keep of the equivalent level. For example, a level 10 tower's material is comparable to the material of a level 5 keep.

- Killing guards no longer triggers flames to appear on the realmwar map. However, killing guards will still announce to the guild who owns the keep.

- On the realmwar maps, towers will only trigger flames to appear if the tower walls or doors are attacked. Note that killing tower guards will not trigger the flames to appear on the realmwar map. When a realm owns more than 5 keeps, the flames will only trigger after the tower has lost some health. A greatly overextended realm will trigger at a lower health.

- We fixed a problem where Midgard Relic Wall doors in Yggdra Forest were opening and closing in the incorrect order. Now they should function as documented.

- The Keep Lords for all Frontier Keeps have been moved to a more central location in their respective rooms.

- Pool and keep take experience rewards now display correctly on the character sheet to players when received.

Realm Ability Changes and Fixes

- Savagery abilities no longer check to see if the Savage has enough health to use if Blissful Ignorance is active.

- Using a style cancels the Blade Barrier realm ability and its associated disarm effects.

- Animist bombers are now properly reduced in effectiveness if the caster of the bomber has Mastery of Concentration active.

- Mastery of Concentration no longer affects charged items, procs or reactive procs.

- Divine Intervention will now heal necromancer pets.

- Fury of Nature RA now converts damage shield, damage add and critical melee hits into healing.

- Reflex Attack swings no longer interfere with style chains.

- Poisons now have a chance to expend themselves when used against a target with Remedy active.

- The Soldier's Barricade RA now blocks magical damage from monsters, including enemy pets.

- Testudo now blocks spell damage from monster and enemy player pets in addition to enemy players.

- You can no longer activate Testudo while dead.

- The Vanish realm ability now reports how many seconds of super-stealth you have when used.

- Shamans can now get criticals on bolts if they have Wild Power.

- Stuns from styles are now blocked by Charge, Speed of Sound, and Arm's Length.

- Arrow Summoning no longer delves as Arrow Salvaging with incorrect values.

- Decimation Trap now delves for the proper damage.

- Dual Threat no longer has an icon. This is a passive ability and was mistakenly assigned an icon.

- Sure Shot given a new icon so that it no longer has the same icon as Rapid Fire. Really.

- The following abilities now display the same icon in the effect bar as the quickbar: Testudo, Remedy, Charge, and Snapshot.

Battlegrounds

- Players will no longer be able to drop New Frontiers boats in the following battlegrounds: The Hills of Claret (10-14), Killaloe (15-19), Thidranki (20-24), Braemar (25-29), and Wilton (30-34).

Siege Changes

- There is now a much greater chance of missing targets which are riding rams and below you.

- When riding a ram and selecting 'Move' with a door targeted, the ram will now move in a direct line to that door (if you are within 2048 units of the door).

- Rams now attempt to move back out of obstacles towards their controller when he is forcibly removed by running into them.

- Mesmerized or Stunned players will no longer be able to operate siege equipment.

- Players will not be able to operate siege equipment if they do not have Line of Sight to the siege piece they are trying to operate. This is to prevent players from operating siege while standing on the other side of a door or wall.

Tradeskills

- Diminutive Siege Apparatus recipes no longer require tradeskill tools to create. Note that inventory tradeskill tools (planing tool, sewing kit, and smith's hammer) are still required to deploy Diminutive Siege.

- The material skill levels required for creating Diminutive Siege Apparatus recipes have been reduced to 600. Please note that the term "material skill" refers to the following: gemcutting, herbcraft, leatherworking, woodworking, and metalworking.

Monsters and NPCs

- A new merchant selling siege components has been placed adjacent to each border keep in the frontiers. The merchants are as follows: Albion Calesta and Lenadariel, Midgard Kharne and Heimdar, Hibernia Terilen and Elsendra.

- The skeletons outside of Dun Scathaig are now able to be attacked.

- Monsters are now able to path through broken keep doors.

Albion Quests

- Departed Fellowship - Step 8 and 9 - Players should carefully read Sir Tilian's speech on step 8 and their quest journal on step 9. The location of the spirit players need to find has changed and both Sir Tilian and the quest journal have been updated to reflect this change. Cadwallen's sacrificial dagger will let you know when you are in the correct place.

CAMELOT CLASSIC WORLD NOTES

Hibernia Quests

- Illisa's Trade - Step 8 - The location of the white boars has been updated in both the NPC dialogue and the quest journal.

Item Notes

- The Large Stone Mace (Hibernia) now has a bonus to Strength instead of Empathy.

- The duplicate Strength bonus on the Cracked Stone Mace (Hibernia) has been changed to Dexterity.

- The Crimson Blade-Stopper (Albion) is now correctly set as a level 51 shield.

- The Macabre Leather armor (Hibernia) now has the correct bonus values in place of zero values.

TRIALS OF ATLANTIS WORLD NOTES

Artifacts and Researchers

- Crocodile's Tooth Dagger (Hibernia) - The quest journal for Rangers and Nightshades has been fixed so that it gives them the correct options for activating the Crocodile's Tooth. These classes should simply click on Sage Davin or Sage Miodac to have their journal entry updated with the correct options - bladed or piercing.

Encounters

- The night terrors in Oceanus Hesperos will now disregard number of attackers when splitting themselves. Previously this would result in more terrors spawning then intended.

- The demonics at Dun Crauchon are now attackable.

- A number of monsters at Nottmoor Faste have been removed from inside a wall.

- The Lord of Bledmeer Faste is now attackable.

Item Notes
