REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 24, 2004--Electronic Arts (Nasdaq:ERTS), the world's leading interactive entertainment software company today announced the Ultima Online(TM) 7th Anniversary Edition, commemorating the game's historic seven-year run. The special version of the longest-running online game is currently in development and scheduled for release this summer.

With Ultima Online 7th Anniversary Edition, players will be able to enjoy one of the most immersive online worlds because in addition to the original Ultima Online game, the following five expansion packs will be included: Utlima Online(TM) The Second Age(TM), Ultima Online Renaissance(TM), Ultima Online(TM): Third Dawn(TM), Ultima Online(TM): Lord Blackthorn's Revenge and Ultima Online(TM): Age of Shadows(TM). Players will also receive one of seven rare and powerful anniversary gifts, each offering an exclusive benefit to the lucky recipient, and a collector's edition of the Ultima Online Fan Guide, which includes exclusive art from the history of Ultima Online and interviews with the development team and community leaders.

As an added bonus, included in the Ultima Online 7th Anniversary Edition package will be a full version of the classic Ultima(TM) IX: Ascension, the last game in the Ultima series that was hailed as one of the greatest fantasy adventures of all time and was the catalyst for Ultima Online.
