Gamehelper Consoles has put together a quick preview of Jade Empire, based upon what they saw of BioWare's Xbox RPG at this year's E3. Check it out:

In addition to the martial arts and magic, your character will eventually gain the Transformation ability. From time to time, the demons and monsters you defeat will drop their spirits, which you can then absorb. Once you absorb a monster's spirit, you can transform into it as long as your Chi holds out. The bigger and badder the monster, the bigger the drain on your Chi.
