City of Heroes Reviews

Two more reviews have hit the web for Cryptic Studios' recently released superhero MMORPG, City of Heroes. The first is at GameAxis with an overall score of 8.8/10:
In short, City of Heroes is an awesome MMORPG (warning: deluge of superlatives coming). Yes, the graphics requirements are a little taxing and yes it's a little bit expensive, but the game is both beautiful and a joy to play. The world of Paragon City in real-time rendering, if you have the card for it, is immensely immersive. Compounded by the far-reaching character development possibilities and potentially deep gameplay thanks to a seemingly inexhaustible premise, CoH is just a better US$16 spent every month - if you have it to spend.

And the second is at Netjak with an overall score of 9/10:
I have to say that just about any fan of comics and superheroes is going to enjoy City of Heroes and that it's the second most fun MMORPG I've ever played. If you can get over the cost, and if Cryptic puts as much love and care into maintaining the product as they did into creating it, this game is going to be occupying the hard drive space, bank accounts, and lives of a lot of people.
