For an action adventure game (action RPG, beard hater! Ed), BG:DA2 provides a lot of action perhaps at the expense of the adventure. Sometimes when fighting your way through swathes of scummy bad-guys, the levelling-up and stats can feel surplus to requirements a Gauntlet-style four-player mode without so much of the RPG elements could have been amazing. As things stand though, there's plenty here that will please a lot of people.
