GameSpy's latest "What We're Playing" article offers a glance at what game developers themselves are playing during their spare time, including BioWare's Ray Muzyka and Mythic's Mark Jacobs. Here's an excerpt from Ray's input:

I'm still testing some of the early Jade Empire builds on my green Xbox debug kit. Jade Empire is BioWare's upcoming action-RPG featuring an epic story, exploration, and real-time motion-captured martial arts combat in a fantastic world based on Chinese fantasy and mythology. Jade Empire's looking better and better each build - we're planning to focus on the immense variety of tactics in combat in a few different beautiful areas at this year's GDC demos in March and then show exploration, dialog and the epic storyline, and some super-cool stuff at E3 in May.
