Deus Ex: Invisible War Reviews

Another handful of reviews for Ion Storm's Deus Ex: Invisible War hit the web over the past couple of days. Two of them are at VideoGamesLife, both for the PC and Xbox versions, with an overall score of 91/100. A snippet from the latter:
Deus Ex: Invisible War is the first truly brilliant sequel of the year. The reception to it will be much better on Xbox, that's for sure, seeing as a good deal of people playing it won't have played the original. Is Invisible War a better game than its predecessor? In all honesty, we don't think so. Deus Ex set the foundations that Invisible War has refined. But the fact that what we see in the game isn't as fresh as the last time means there will be some disappointment out there. We were disappointed by the length and size of the maps sometimes, sure, but there is no escaping the fact that the wealth of options present in Invisible War make it one of the most approachable games we have ever encountered since, well, Deus Ex. Both games provide escapism, but above all else, they give us an immersive world to play in where our decisions really do matter. Utter brilliance.

And the third is at RealGamer with an overall score of 8/10:
Ultimately Deus Ex: Invisible War is an excellent game that suffers pretty much the same flaws as the original game with its major flaw been its ambition. By trying to appeal to a wider audience developers Ion Storm have probably alienated fans of the original while newcomers may find the game a little hard to follow at times as the story from the original is heavily referenced. This aside the game is definitely well worth checking out and should provide a great gaming experience if you're willing to overlook its faults.
