I could go on to mention a few more pros and cons, but the bottom line is, fellow gamers, Deux Ex 2 is worth the money, even if it was buggy at release. The first patch has addressed some initial issues, and despite the fact that it has undergone some significant changes, the game is worthy of your time, attention, and hard earned grip. It's inevitable that we try to judge the sequel in terms of the original, but I think what we're looking at here is a nuanced and customizable gaming experience that merits attention, even if it falls a bit short of predecessor's extraordinarily wide reaching acclaim. And, while I did not have to extend my medical coverage, my wife did give me a good chewing out for upgrading the video card. . .That's just fine, as long as I can get back into DEIW later on tonight.
