When I first heard about The Bard's Tale, I thought it would be like other games of its ilk, but after seeing it in action and reading the script, it has skyrocketed to the top of my most-wanted games list. While other games in the genre are making advances in multiplayer or online play, inXile is working on producing a polished adventure that stands out from the rest with its deep story and mocking tone. Stay tuned for a hand-on preview. I'll be fighting the other GameSpy editors to cover it.
