Deus Ex: Invisible War Review

Whilst I have my reservations, Invisible War does emerge intact from these issues and, as a standalone game, is a decent attempt at combining FPS action with a detailed story. It also gets some credit for being a fairly lengthy adventure when you throw in the time spent doing the mini-tasks, but despite the efforts to try and give you the feeling that your decisions really mattered I did just feel that the game followed a mostly linear path that would have more or less been the same regardless of what option I took along the way. As such Invisible War gets good marks for effort, but falls a fair way short of being a true classic in the mould of the original Deus Ex.
