Ubisoft Launches Shadowbane in Europe

Shadowbane® has officially opened for service today all across Europe. The highly anticipated Shadowbane Gold edition is now available in Europe for both Mac and PC gamers. The Shadowbane Gold edition includes the original Shadowbane game and the new expansion, "The Rise of Chaos".

Shadowbane Europe opens with two new server worlds and a brand new strategic map called Vorringia. They also join the game after Shadowbane just launched their highly anticipated (Winter is Coming) patch for January, which introduces a new playable race, three new disciplines, first person mode, and many new monsters and adventure zones.

Set in a dark fantasy world burning with strife and unrest, Shadowbane is the first persistent world massively multiplayer online game to combine the fantasy role-playing and real-time strategy genres. It is the first such product to embrace a dynamic world design model, in which players can physically affect the history, politics and landscape of the game itself. In Shadowbane, you can build castles, raise armies, and lay siege to vast areas of virtual terrain.
