Star Wars: KotoR Wins Another Award

GameSpot has given LucasArts and BioWare's Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic their "Best Game Based on a TV or Film Property" award. An excerpt, as usual:
The story of Knights is certainly more compelling than the narratives that have driven the past two Star Wars prequels. Set 4,000 years before all that Death Star business went down, Knights presents a new cast of characters locked in an epic struggle that is completely worthy of the Star Wars name. Knights still pays loving tribute to the Star Wars universe, with its familiar locales, recognizable alien races, and, of course, heaping helpings of Jedi, lightsabers, and the Force. For all of the halfhearted Star Wars games that put you through the Battle of Hoth for the umpteenth time, Knights is able to create something fresh and original, while still honoring the Star Wars mythology.
